Sometimes spending $4 for a small bag of scrap yarns (some ugly, that I will be re-donating) is worth it for something this cute 🥰

Year 2 of learning to grow potatoes. Much better than last year and a lot bigger (found some huge grubs and the chickens were so excited to have them.

A rollercoaster weekend to WV ❤️ starts out a little off with unnecessary stress. Had a beautiful ride up and stopped at an orchard for fresh peaches followed by a lovely dinner and a nice visit. In the morning we went for a walk to grab coffee followed by a walk while making a wild bouquet. Get a call from the hubs where our rooster stabbed himself on the fence and looked like Carry at prom. Someone tried to break into our cars and he stumbled across a ground bee/hornet/wasp hive. It wasn't even 11:30 am yet. Show him the plant to put on the stings. During the walk we noticed none of the apple trees had fruit. Not 1 piece!! Admitted we were grateful for the abundance of last year. We got enough last year to cover us for two years lol. Coming home was a delightful stroll through a flea market to come across nostalgia being sandwiched between two delicious naps. (My folks still have a few they still use.) ❤️

A little trip with the church choir (and my mom) to participate in a concert at Carnegie Hall. Spent a lot of time living in the moment while in NYC. Great trip, adventures with broken buses, hotel rooms not ready 5 hours after check in and other shenanigans.
