Today, our Yellow Jacket family is heartbroken as we mourn the loss of one of our own, Destiny Kennedy.

Destiny had been a part of the UCHS family for four years, and this was supposed to be her senior year—a year filled with memories, celebrations, and the excitement of walking across the stage with her classmates at graduation.

Destiny had a quiet personality, but you always knew she was there. And when she smiled, she could light up a room. She was uniquely herself, and she will be remembered for the presence she brought to our school and to the lives of those who knew and loved her.
It is incredibly difficult to put into words the sadness we feel knowing that Destiny will not get to experience the moments she had been looking forward to with her classmates. Her absence will be felt deeply in our hallways, classrooms, and especially among the classmates and teachers who shared these past four years with her.

Today, we are simply asking our Yellow Jacket family to surround Destiny's family and friends with love, prayers, and compassion. Please also take care of one another. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no one should feel that they have to carry their sadness alone.

Rest peacefully, Destiny. You will always be a part of the UCHS family. 💛🖤
