If your child is starting school this year, can they write their name independently or by using an example? A great way to practice this skill is by letting your child trace their name at first. If your child is having difficulty holding their pencil correct, try using a shorter pencil-a gold pencil is perfect to help them learn to correctly hold a pencil. 📝

Being able to name and recognize rhyming words is a helpful skill to have as a child enters kindergarten. Research shows that if a child knows 8 nursery rhymes by heart by the time they are 4 years old, they are usually among the best readers and spellers in their class by the time they are 8 years old. So, reading nursery rhymes is not only fun but very helpful!📕📗📘

THIS is why what we do is so important!!!
