Brock is a 1 year old Shepherd mix who is a very affectionate and playful dog. He is absolutely obsessed with his tennis ball — he will happily entertain himself or you for hours with it. He is dog friendly, and he is also going to need a home with a big secure yard where he can run. At the end of the day, all Brock really wants is to spend time with you and enjoy life. Brock came to Pawsitive Place Rescue as a very sick puppy. He has healed beautifully and it’s like you can feel how grateful he is now. Duncan is a healthy, young neutered male, and only 45 lbs. He is dog friendly, loves his snacks, and very eager to learn.
Britt is a young little girl who also loves snacks and is full of happy, playful puppy energy! They are both amazing dogs that would make a wonderful addition to any family.

🌿🍁 Maple is a 1-year-old Terrier mix who weighs only 40 lbs — the perfect size for cuddles, adventures, and couch naps. She loves exploring the yard, rolling around in the grass, carrying around her favorite tennis balls and sticks, and snuggling up in soft blankies after a long day. She also happens to be extremely photogenic and always ready for her close-up 📸
Maple is a fun, goofy girl who will absolutely keep you smiling and protect you from negativity and bad days. She has so much personality and loves being part of the action while still being happy to curl up and relax with her people. After spending a long time in the shelter environment, Maple can be protective of her belongings, so she would do best as the only pet in the home or with an experienced handler who understands her needs and boundaries. 💛

🆘‼️ URGENT: MAMA GIRL NEEDS A MIRACLE 🙏🏼
Smith County Animal Control & Shelter recently shared that they are past capacity and struggling with the overwhelming volume of dogs within their care. We all know exactly what this means: when a new truckload of dogs comes in and they need empty kennels, a truckload of dogs have to go out. Because this shelter refuses to issue formal Code Red notices to rescues, the lives of wonderful dogs like Mama Girl are being lost quickly and quietly.
Mama Girl is currently in the Tier 2 rescue category, which puts her at immediate risk of euthanasia. She is incredibly affectionate and friendly with children, and she deserves a chance at a loving home instead of being a casualty of a crowded system. Please go to Smith County and save a life. Be a miracle and a voice for the voiceless. This is the last day many dogs have to live. UPDATE ON GG: Surgery was a success! ❤️
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we fully raised the funds needed for GG’s surgery! 🙌🏻🥳
GG came out of surgery this morning and is already resting comfortably and being thoroughly spoiled in his foster home. While the procedure went well, he still has a long road of healing over the next few months. Please keep this boy in your thoughts and prayers. We will continue to share updates on his progress. Thank you all for being GG’s heroes ❤️🙏🏼 Especially Maria for opening her heart and home for GG to rehabilitate and recover.
