As we enter into our sanctuary for the first time in months, we give thanks to Him for providing us with a beautiful and historic place to worship. We know that everything belongs to Him, and every believer has been entrusted with resources, abilities, opportunities, grace, spiritual gifts and passions to do His work.

We are excited to announce that beginning Sunday, Oct. 11, we will once again gather for worship in our sanctuary. After months of planning, preparation, and anticipation, we look forward to returning to this sacred space and worshiping together as a church family.
We eagerly anticipate hearing our new organ come to life in the coming weeks. We pray that it will deepen our worship and lift our hearts in praise.
The organ will be first played in worship services on All Saints Sunday, Nov. 1, as the chancel choir, with orchestra, offers Lux: The Dawn from on High. Then, The organ will officially be consecrated on Nov. 15 in both the 8:30 and 11 a.m. traditional worship services. Bishop Scott Jones will be preaching that day as we celebrate this momentous occasion for Marvin Methodist Church.
Then you go out even further and bring them all in because I want to see this room filled and I want to be a part of a wonderful celebration. That's the Lord's heart. Watch the entire message, "God's Vision for a Crowded Banquet", on our YouTube channel: youtube.com/

How can we faithfully and confidently articulate what we're for as Christians? Join us this Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to noon for a special workshop led by Dr. Timothy Tennent on the biblical vision of the human body, sexuality, and the Body of Christ.
Dr. Tennent is ordained in the Global Methodist Church and serves as the Chair of Methodist Divinity at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University. He previously served as the President of Asbury Theological Seminary.
This is a timely conversation that will help equip us with language and understanding for the cultural questions we encounter today. Then join us Sunday as Dr. Tennent preaches in Core Worship. Visit marvin.church/events to register. We will see you there!

On World Communion Sunday, we worship the One who welcomes, the One who remembers, the One who feeds the whole world with hope.

A small glimpse of what’s to come. How wonderful it is to hear this instrument come to life, even during the tuning process. Soon, very soon, its full voice will fill our sanctuary in worship.
How desperate are you for God? How desperate are you for his strength, for His will to be done? Watch the entire message, "Persistence in Prayer", on our YouTube channel: youtube.com/
