Another special children’s gathering in Dnipro!

This week, the children learned about honoring God as they talked about creation, making good choices, and showing kindness to others. The day was filled with Bible lessons, games, creativity, treats, and plenty of smiles.

Before heading home, each child also received a gift with school supplies to help them begin the new school year.

Thank you, PHA Family, for helping create these simple but meaningful moments where children can learn, grow, and know they are cared for.

In Domik Zaporizhzhia, 56 people received food packages and a place to connect.

Many of those who come have been displaced from small villages and communities across the Zaporizhzhia region. During distributions, familiar hometowns often lead to shared stories, unexpected connections, and invitations to join the church community.

For people who have lost so much, finding a place to belong and people who understand can bring hope and encouragement.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

Another reason to celebrate in Zaporizhzhia!

On one of the last warm days of the season, our team returned to the Dnipro River for a very special moment. Another new sister in Christ was baptized!

We rejoice with her as she begins this new chapter of faith and thank God for continuing to work in the lives of people in Zaporizhzhia.

Please join us in celebrating and praying for our new sister in Christ as she continues to grow in her faith and walk with Jesus.

Some of the best relationships begin with a simple invitation.

As the last warm days of the year allow for outdoor gatherings at Domik Kamianske, our team continues inviting women and children they meet through food distributions to come and spend time together.

And those invitations are being accepted. New people are coming, meeting others, and beginning to build relationships.

This is how community grows, one invitation and one conversation at a time.

Another day of practical help and meaningful connection at Domik Kamianske.

Families received food packages and certificates to purchase needed personal care items. Our team made a point to slow down, listen, and spend time with each person.

Because serving is about more than meeting a practical need. It is also about making sure people feel seen, heard, and cared for.

At a recent humanitarian aid distribution in Dnipro, our team met people facing incredibly difficult circumstances, including the loss of loved ones, homes, and the lives they once knew.

Through the PHA family, they are reminded that they are not alone and that people care.

Thank you for helping us be the hands of Christ and stand alongside Ukrainians in need.

What are we feeling, and why does it matter? 💙

A recent Emotional Trauma Care session at Domik Zaporizhzhia explored the difference between emotions and feelings, how recognizing them can help us in everyday life, and how emotions are part of God’s design.

Participants also looked at examples from the life of Jesus and practiced identifying and naming their own emotions. 💛

Saturday was a full day at Domik Kamianske!

The women gathered for Bible study, fellowship, and time around the table, while food packages were also distributed through our partnership with the Ukrainian Bible Institute. Later, the children gathered for their own Bible lesson and time together.

What stood out most were the smiles and joy. In the middle of difficult circumstances, these gatherings have become a place where people can rest, connect, and grow in faith.

After a difficult night of attacks in Zaporizhzhia, 29 people still made the journey to Domik to receive food packages and needed support.

Daily attacks have damaged infrastructure and made even basic needs harder to meet. Yet through it all, our team continues to hold onto faith and hope in God while serving those around them.

They shared their gratitude for the PHA Family and the reminder that they are not facing these difficult days alone.
