It astounds me how often otherwise intelligent people will come to us for an IV after a round of golf, completely dehydrated because they didn't drink enough water while playing, didn't stay in the shade when possible, and wore dark sun-grabbing clothing.

We're in the South and it's summer... clubs aren't the only gear you need on a day like today.

So your phone battery gets under 50% and you start panicking, but your vitamin levels are much lower than that and your hydration is so low your lips are chapped, but you don't freak out about that...

Maybe it's time to think of your bodily systems like your phone battery and start staying charged. 🤷🏻‍♂️

No point in lying about it. If this big galoot would sleep past 7 a.m. on the weekend we probably wouldn't open til noon, but as it is he's a morning person so we're open all day, all weekend. 🤦🏻‍♂️

You know what IVs are good for? They're good for "So what?" When you have something important to do, nobody cares about excuses.

"I don't feel great." So what?
"I'm nauseated." So what?
"I'm worn out." So what?

Get the IV and get the job done.

People ask why we don't give Zofran to pregnant women when they're suffering through morning sickness.

Some studies have shown that Zofran is okay during pregnancy, especially in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, but other studies have shown an increase in birth defects if it's given, especially in the first trimester.

We sympathize and can give you fluids if your provider approves them, but we're always going to flip that switch up to "Safe".
