Listen, for some of y’all that’s a weekend. 😂 But for someone who spent most of her life saying she hated reading, I’m pretty proud of it.

So now I want to know… what’s something you started in 2025 and actually stuck with in 2026?

Reading? Working out? Budgeting? Eating healthier? Keeping a plant alive? 👀

Let’s brag on ourselves for a minute because life is expensive, adulthood is weird, and consistency deserves a little credit too. 👏✨

Tonight’s after workout, date night ended with a laptop connected to the TV and a budget spreadsheet on the big screen. Nothing says romance quite like asking, “Wait… what was THAT charge for?” 😂💸

Now before anyone is impressed, we’ve had a budget for years. A budget wasn’t the problem.

The problem was clarity.

Turns out those little Amazon orders, quick trips through the drive-thru, subscriptions you forgot existed, and random “treat yourself” moments add up REAL fast. 😅

The hard truth? Our goals haven’t changed.

We still want to travel. ✈️
We still want to build wealth. 💰
We still want to invest. 📈
We still want to start a family. ❤️

And while everything seems to cost approximately 47% more than it did five minutes ago, those goals are still worth pursuing.

So tonight we got honest, looked at the numbers, and made a plan.

Was it fun? Not really.
Was it necessary? Absolutely.
Did we find some things that made us say, “Well that’s dumb…”? Also yes. 😂

It won’t be fixed overnight, and that’s okay. But clarity is a whole lot better than avoidance.

A freshly organized cabinet that no longer gives me anxiety every time I open it 😂 Nothing falling out, everything has a place, and my brain feels 10x calmer already lol. Small wins count too 🤍

One thing about me… I LOVE home design 😂
I’ll redesign an entire living room on a dinner napkin before the food even comes out.

Give me a room that feels off and suddenly I’m rearranging furniture in my head, scrolling Facebook Marketplace later that night, and convincing everyone to trust the vision 🤍

And no… I don’t measure anything. I just eyeball it and somehow it works.
