I woke up to a big "harvest moon" still high in the western sky this morning.

I harvested my garlic this week. Some onions are getting ready to pull too.

Worms are wonderful in your garden.

Earthworms are nature’s underground gardeners. 🪱✨

They tunnel through soil, boosting airflow and drainage, while their castings (yep, worm p**p!) are packed with nutrients plants love. Just one square meter of healthy soil can host hundreds of them, but pesticides and harsh treatments put them at risk.

Superschmelz kohlrabi get very large and still stay tender. I will be growing a lot more next year.

We got over 6" of rain last night at the worm farm. I guess I won't have to water the worm beds or gardens for a few days. Lots of clean-up on the schedule today.
