Office Renovation is complete!

Since purchasing the motel, we've been working through projects both interior and exterior, and one of the spaces we were most excited to transform was the office- the first impression guests receive when they arrive.

The original layout opened directly into our on-site manager's living space, so creating a welcoming and functional reception area quickly became a priority.

We're excited to share that the renovation is now complete! With a redesigned layout, custom reception desk, guest seating area, books and games, and updated finishes throughout, this space now reflects the direction we're taking the entire property.
We're incredibly proud of how it turned out and grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way. ❤️

But this is a big milestone for the transformation at Cool City Motel.

All 28 of our new exterior doors have arrived!

They are now being professionally sprayed before our subcontractor can begin installing them. Once the doors are installed, our new key card entry system provider will be able to schedule on-site installation of the software and complete staff training on the new system.

Our new vinyl lettering is up on the office door, and we love how clean and welcoming it looks! It’s the little touches like this that continue to bring our vision to life.

From what we bought → what it’s becoming

The new office door has been installed, and it’s already completely transformed this space and we just couldn't keep this transformation to ourselves!

We still have some landscaping to do and the new driveway is planned for this spring/summer which will completely transform the exterior.

Office update: We’re in the final stretch! We’re just waiting on the countertop, our custom sign for the sitting area, and a few finishing touches to complete the space. It’s been a productive weekend, and we’re excited to see it all come together. A special shout out to my husband for his amazing work and always bringing my vision to life!

We’ve started adding some exterior planters to bring some life to the outside 🌿
