Then his son
Joe LeClair took over the commercial fishing and his two son's Peter and Paul LeClair
joined him. Peter LeClair took over the company from his father and his son Mike
LeClair joined him in 1964. Later, Mike LeClair took over the company and his brother
Paul LeClair Jr. became part of the company in the 1980's. In the 1990's, their other

Our Story
Charles LeClair came down from Canada and started commercial fishing. Then his son
Joe LeClair took over the commercial fishing and his two son's Peter and Paul LeClair
joined him. Peter LeClair took over the company from his father and his son Mike
LeClair joined him in 1964. Later, Mike LeClair took over the company and his brother
Paul LeClair Jr. became part of the company in the 1980's. In 1982, the first two smoke houses began to run. In the 1990's, their other brother, Daniel (Tiger) LeClair Jr. joined the Susie-Q team as the number 1 salesman. Mike's daughter, Jamie LeClair, and her daughter Raven LeClair also work at Susie-Q Fish Company, making it a six generation family business.
