A quick 10 fish for this great couple kept the streak going. Left the dock at 4:30 and were running back to the dock before 6:30. Lost 5 others. Deep riggers, wire dipseys and 200 & 300 coppers were on fire. Fish didn’t let us even get half the rods in before they started biting. There was a decent little chop but still able to troll any direction. There were fish getting caught from 50-110’. Taking tomorrow off so Brandon can run home, see the Mrs and do some laundry. Hope we can keep it going Thursday morning.

This morning we had to work harder to get our fish, but we kept the streak alive. 13 made the cooler and as many got away. There was definitely some healthy rollers out there, but not much for a wave, so about any size boat was able to get out and get fish. Water was again a bit warmer and the prime bite window was early again.

Had a nice calm morning and sent 17 home with customers today. Should have hung 30 but had way too many quick hits. Not a trout on the hook this morning. They went nuts again early with scattered bites after sun up.

Hung 19 this morning while fishing the Westshore derby this morning. The northeast wind we had overnight really changed the water temps. We made a quick adjustment and started banging fish. At one point shortly after 5am 11 of our 14 rods were out of the water. We tossed back some smalls, and had quite a few quick hits that never hooked up. Definitely a fun day with a great group of regulars. Thankfully the weather man was wrong and today was actually nicer than yesterday.

This morning was definitely the roughest we’ve had in the last couple weeks. We started trolling into the waves before they built up and then surfed our way back. Managed to put 10 in the cooler plus 3 littles that weren’t releasable. We did let some go and lost 8 others. Kept the double digit streak going. Had a 12.5lb brown that I really wish we would get tomorrow. Good luck to those that plan to brave the SE blow tomorrow for the Westshore Derby. We’ll be out there bouncing around

Well this morning we decided to stay out til we filled the rack. Took til 8:30. Kept 20, tossed some smalls again, and lost quite a few. Seemed like they were slashing at baits more vs eating em after sunrise. Really hoping we get a couple more days of this but winds I’m sure will be changing the water. With almost no wind since year it’s already changed just with the currents.

Pretty much a repeat of the previous night for first mate Brandon. He jumped in with his buddy Alex’s boat and grabbed a third buddy Jet and hung 10 more. Guys were on fire in their little tinner. Unfortunately a bigger boat did cut off a 5 color lead core on em with their big board so will need to respool that before this morning’s trip. An unfortunate outcome when someone isn’t paying attention where they are going.

Yet another crazy morning out of Two Rivers. 18 fish in the cooler. Tossed back some smalls and lost a fair amount. Pulled the pin at 8 to go have breakfast. A lite bit of fog this morning made this fun but everyone did a great job of avoiding each other and no issues occurred. Had 1 that had changed color quite a bit already. Brandon has started saving and curing skein for those that want to join him and catch these kings on bobbers in the rivers come mid September thru October.

We had no charter for yesterday afternoon so I gave the boat a good scrub as she needed it. What does first mate Brandon do? He grabs his buddy and they jump in a 16’er and go out and whack their own 10 salmon. Having a guy like Brandon running the back deck of the boat is one of the reasons we have had the success lately we have had. Good job bud. Hope ya got a couple hours of sleep last night.

These guys hung 19 this morning and had a shot to fill all 30. Numerous doubles, and a triple followed by 5 more going off made for a hectic morning. All salmon with 2 coho and the rest kings. Kept the double digit streak alive. Over a month now. Gonna be tough tomorrow to do with just 1 guy going out. The cooler water we’ve been targeting did shrink a bit. A little south or west breeze would be nice but I don’t see it in the future
