A big shoutout to our custodial staff as National Custodial Worker's Recognition Day was Friday. Thank you for keeping our school clean and ready for our students to learn every day!

There is no school for Early Childhood-4th grade on Thursday, October 8th due to Act 20 reading meetings and no school for all students on Friday, October 9th due to staff professional development.

The TR Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams spent Friday evening in Green Lake toeing the line with 46 other teams in the Nightfall Classic. The Girls team was short handed while resting some due to injuries and still managed to place 8th amongst the D2 schools. They were led by meet medalists Andi Gallagher (2nd in D2 and 4th overall out of 386 runners) and Leighton Erickson (6th in D2 and 11th overall) who both finished with PR times of 19:14 and 19:32 respectively. Also running strong for the girls were CC Taddy (76th in D2 in a time of 24:17), Payten Baumann (78th in D2 in a Personal Best time of 24:21), and Constanza Gutierrez Gamboa (93rd in D2 in a Personal Best time of 24:56).

The Boys team is working on assembling all the pieces to make for a strong run in two weeks at the Conference meet and placed 13th amongst the D2 schools on Friday. They were led by a strong finish and a huge Personal Best time by Evan Radandt as he placed 29th in D2 with a time of 18:32. Jimmy Hoffmann placed 52nd in D2 with a time of 19:24 and was followed closely by Kaden Essert in 56th in D2 with a time of 19:32. Jasper Kue was the Raiders 4th runner placing 123rd in D2 with a huge personal best time of 21:56 while Daulton Renteria made his cross country racing debut, placing 128th in a time of 22:38.

Raiders will race again on Friday at Luxemburg-Casco in a 21 team invite.

Sports and Co-Curricular Bus Drivers Needed!
Two Rivers Buses, Inc. has experienced some struggles having enough drivers, at times, to transport students from school and to athletic events when both are taking place around the same time. In brainstorming one possible solution, the bus company is willing to help staff members and parents pay for their CDL license if they agree to drive teams to athletic events. They also pay $16 an hour for driving.

For those who may be unaware, the district contracts with Two Rivers Buses, Inc. Since the district does not own the buses or directly employ the drivers, the decision regarding whom they choose to interview and hire would be made by Two Rivers Buses, Inc.

2nd grade students from Magee visited the Botanical Gardens in Green Bay. They explored the life cycle of seeds and learned about how plants grow and change. Students used their senses to touch, feel, and smell a variety of plants, fruits, and vegetables. They had the opportunity to explore the gardens, observe different types of plants, and make connections to what they have been learning in the classroom. It was a fun and hands-on experience that allowed students to learn about plants and nature in an engaging way!
