This weekend, we gather not just to enjoy a long weekend, but to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is a time to honor their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting the freedoms we often take for granted.

Behind every flag placed at a grave is a story — a son, a daughter, a friend, or a neighbor who answered the call to serve. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we spend time with family and friends today, let us also pause in gratitude and reflection. May we live in a way that honors their legacy — with unity, kindness, and respect for one another.

We remember them. We thank them. And we will never forget them.

🥴 I will have a delayed start tomorrow May 21, 2026 - I will open at 3:00pm so that I’m able to attend the Two Rivers BID District meeting. It’s not a good or convenient time for any of us business owners, so we’ll have to adjust hours. It’s an important meeting to attend.

I’m encouraging any business owners to attend. Especially those who aren’t in their selected area.
