🎄❤️ THE SPRUCE LODGE CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE ❤️🎄
This Christmas, we want to see just how much GOOD our little bar and our amazing customers can do together!
We’re collecting donations to help make Christmas a little brighter for Two Rivers families in need. 🎁
🎁 HOW IT WORKS
Bring a donation to The Spruce Lodge — toys, children’s gifts, hats & gloves, socks, gift cards, or a monetary donation.
🎄 THEN COMES THE FUN PART!
Every person who donates gets a Christmas ornament to write their name on and hang on our Giving Tree!
Every ornament represents someone who gave.
Every name represents someone who cared.
And by Christmas, we hope this tree is COVERED in them! ❤️

You can privately nominate a Two Rivers family in need to receive assistance through our Christmas Giving Tree.
Nomination forms will be available at The Spruce Lodge.
Please do not put a family’s private information on social media or publicly identify the family. All nominations will be kept confidential.

Joe Neuser Obituary Sep 30, 2026 - Lambert Eckert Funeral Home View Joe Neuser's obituary, send flowers, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.

In Memory of Joe Neuser -
Joe Neuser was one of those genuinely good people you were lucky enough to know.
He was hardworking to his core—planting crops, harvesting them, running and owning his business, and rarely slowing down. But for all the work he put into his business and his life, Joe never forgot the people around him. He cared deeply about his employees, often more than anyone probably ever realized. He wanted people to be treated right, and he genuinely cared about the people who worked for him.
Joe was a loyal friend—the kind of friend who didn’t just say he’d be there; he was there. If you needed the shirt off his back in the middle of a blizzard, Joe would probably give it to you and then tell you to quit complaining about being cold.
He loved the simple things that made life fun: playing cards, pulling tabs, shaking dice, hunting, traveling whenever he could sneak away from work, and, of course, having a few drinks and laughing until his sides hurt with his friends. He knew how to work hard, but he also knew how to enjoy life.
And yes, Joe could be stubborn sometimes. Anyone who knew him well probably has a story or two about that. But even that stubbornness was part of Joe. He knew what he believed, stood by his people, and didn’t easily back down.
What made Joe special wasn’t just what he did. It was who he was.
He was genuine. He was generous. He was dependable. He was the kind of person who could walk into a room and make it feel a little more like home. He didn’t need recognition for the things he did for people. He simply did them because that’s who he was.
Joe was loved by the people who knew him because he made a difference in their lives—sometimes in big ways, sometimes in ways so small he probably never even realized they mattered.
The world was a better place because Joe Neuser was in it.
And for those of us fortunate enough to have called him a friend, the world will always feel a little emptier without him.
Here’s to Joe—the farmer, the businessman, the card player, the hunter, the traveler, the stubborn son of a gun, and most importantly, the friend who would have given you the shirt off his back without thinking twice.
You don’t forget a man like Joe.
You carry a piece of him with you.
Myself and The Spruce Lodge Family will miss Joe! The Thirsty Joe's Bar & Grill family are in my thoughts and prayers! Rest easy Joe! 💜
