With the warmer temperatures we’ve had, the asparagus supply is plentiful! We will be OPEN Sunday, May 31st, 9 AM until 3 PM.

Planted last fall, this wheat crop spent the winter tucked beneath the snow and is now greening up and growing rapidly with the warmer temperatures. 🌾

Right now, the plants are building height and developing the heads that will eventually produce the grain harvested later this summer. To support yield, plant health, and soil health, Ryan and Vincent pulled out the traveler for its first pass of the season last night. Applying a much needed 0.8” of water, they’re helping the crop continue to thrive during this critical stage of growth. ☀️

We are seeing some nice blossoms on the strawberry plants! Hoping for NO severe weather going forward so they can develop into wonderful berries for picking later in June.

We are now SOLD OUT of asparagus for today. Check back later this week for availability of more.

We will be OPEN on Sunday, May 24th, from 9 AM until 3 PM unless the asparagus sells out before that. We do have some asparagus available for Sunday. I would ☎️ call before coming out if it’s going to be later.

If you are in need of small square bales of straw for your garden or are having to reseed grass from uprooted trees from the recent wind storm, we have some available. Please call ahead so we can get it out of the shed.

We went out and scouted the strawberry patch tonight and spotted the first blossoms appearing on our early variety berries — such a beautiful sight and a sure sign of the season ahead 🍓

Dave and Ryan were up Wednesday night watering for frost protection, and they’re gearing up for another night of temperature watching to keep those blossoms safe from the cold.
