July 16

Another fun weekend fishing out of TR, minus the biting flys Thursday night.

Thursday night. We caught as many as we lost going something like 7 for 14. At one point the customer “Chili” decided he wanted to net their own fish. We had a great time regardless of the fish count and the 1000 flys on the boat.
See you guys next year.

Thanks Josh for supplying us with the Fatzo’s party platter and of course the first mate duties.

Friday am, No trips on the books so time to put a couple salmon into my freezer. Little more chop than we expected. Fished for a couple hours. Took 5 nice kings and made it back to the dock by 8:30.
Thanks Brian for the doughnut 🍩 and feeding me every fish we got on.

July 11

Saturday am - Derby crew
We all had a great time fishing the Linebacker Derby.

We came home with 1st place in the Lake trout category. Thanks Mark, Josh and Leigh.

July 10th

Friday was a long but fun day on the water. Fishing a two person am group. Then back on the water for our 5 person pm group.

Fishing is still very good out of Two River with plenty of action both in the morning and evening.

Weather was great and the conversation was as good or better than the fishing.

Josh and myself enjoyed all the conversations with both groups and look forward to seeing you next year

Another great weekend of fishing out of the port of Two Rivers. We had a good friend/long standing customer Friday and Saturday. The weather cooperated and the fishing was great. Friday trip landed us with 10 plus and extra two on the pick up, and Saturday gave us 8 for 15. The Stubborn rainbows were hard to get to the net. My Thanks to John and Devin for the good company and conversation, we will see you again next year. And thank you Brian for helping out with the First Mate duties.

Father’s Day weekend in the books

Friday am fishing was on fire from the time we set lines to a double pulling lines.

Saturday am, It was a much harder bite, possibly due to a ton of boat traffic and a weather front that pushed through overnight. You really had to work to keep them hooked up. But we managed a good cooler both trips out.

I would like to thank everyone that came out to fish this weekend. We enjoyed the conversation and hope to see you next year.

Short weekend is done.
Thursday evening a wonderful strong south breeze made a 10 mile trip out take about 35 minutes We setup south of Two Rivers in 225. Turned and rode the waves back. As rough as it was, we had one on the set up unfortunately an 1 1/2 later it took to get our second bite. Bonus I left the soda cooler in the truck so no refreshments. We managed to go three for five.

Friday morning it was back to normal, found a pocket of salmon and rainbow. We worked that area nothing fast and furious but we ended up with a nice cooler. Deep Riggers and pumps at 8 to 10 oz 170 to 200 took the majority of fish

Another weekend with Chasin’ Tail Charters is in the books. From the great repeat customers to the excellent food/snacks they brought on board and shared. The bite was slow, but we managed to get some in both clients coolers. I even got the 2nd mate to drive us to the piers. 😊 I hope you all had a good time and we will see you again next year! Thanks Brian for helping out and bringing some new Dodgers that I will have to add to my collection.

Hard bite weekend!
Thursday AM - pre fish was a successful trip. Good action, but the bite quit by 7am.
Friday AM - we had a great time putting some nice fish in the box. But worked hard to get it done.
Saturday AM - trip with storms overnight and not getting fish into the net made for a hard morning of fishing. Wind picked up way earlier than expected which only made it worse to stay on fish.
We will be back out next weekend. Thanks Brian and Lance for taking the time to book with me.

Another good weekend of fishing out of the Port of Two River. Thursday afternoon we did our pre fishing and managed to put 6 in the box and possibly lost another 5. Weather was not the best but I finally got some salmon in my freezer. Friday morning was a little rough due to a strong NE wind, plus a good amount of current made the bite tough until we got our speed dialed in. 10 for 14, but it took the entire trip to get John and Devon their limit. Saturday morning was a great day to be on the water with calm seas and a lot of boats to work around lol. 😆 . We stayed clear of the pack and managed a quick 10+2 on the pick up. Back at the dock by 8 AM. Thanks John and Deven for a great weekend of fishing. We will see you next year. Thanks Brian for helping out with the first mate duties.
