Having a BLAST at the School District of Mishicot STEM Faire!!!

04/23/2026

We are now accepting new members for our year-round, hands-on advanced robotics and STEAM program!

Students (aged 13+) will learn to solve real engineering challenges in a supportive, team‑based environment, alongside knowledgeable university mentors.

Here's what they'll get up to:

Design & Build - Learn the engineering design process, from CAD to assembly, with the help of the Lakeshore FIRST Robotics machining facilities!

Programming - Code in Python to control autonomous & driver-operated robot functions

Event Planning - Planning, budgeting, and running or assisting with STEAM events in the local community.

Compete - Take part in two annual FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) events, facing off against teams from across the state and beyond

The FRC program is recognized globally by universities and employers as a top-tier STEM extracurricular. Participants will get a head start on STEM pathways before even graduating high school.

No experience? No problem - we're looking for eager learners who share our passion for robotics. Whether considering careers in engineering, programming, electrical, machining, business, marketing, design, etc., the experience gained is invaluable!

Our Summer Season (Mid-May to August) will bring them up to speed as they learn to design, build, iterate as well as plan and run community outreach events. They'll have something to brag about at the dinner table.

Know a parent whose teen would love this? PM us, or send an email to our head mentor Ian Klein at: [email protected]

We won another new-to-us award, the Excellence in Engineering Award at the Wisconsin State Championship!!!!! "FRC Excellence in Engineering Award sponsored by Littelfuse celebrates a team that demonstrates a professional approach to the design process, specifically creating a machine with components that work together seamlessly. It highlights innovative, efficient, and well-documented robot design, often recognizing elegant solutions to complex engineering challenges." Team photos and videos to come! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ β€οΈβš™οΈ Two Rivers Public Schools βš™οΈ School District of Mishicot βš™οΈ Lakeshore First Robotics βš™οΈ

We were called in by the 4th alliance (Mukwonago Bears & More Robotics) to play backup... Unfortunately lost to the 1st place alliance. Had a blast playing a match in playoffs all the same! Watching finals & awards presentations.

Unfortunately, we were not selected for an alliance despite consistent play. We're still happy with our performance, will serve as a backup robot in case a robot selected is unable to compete. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
It's been a fun ride! β€οΈβš™οΈ

Final match, which we knew would be a hard one... Just tried to showcase some of our ball passing and other abilities. Next comes alliance selection, and hoping we showed enough to get selected. πŸ€žπŸ™

Second to last qualification match... Despite the loss to the 1st place team, we're happy with our personal performance!
