Lake sturgeon may live hundreds of years longer than previously thought, study finds An ancient freshwater fish that’s been around since dinosaurs roamed the Earth has now been found to live longer than researchers previously thought, according to a new study.

Homeowners, renters, private nonprofit organizations and businesses have until Aug. 31 to apply for low-interest disaster loans to help cover physical damage caused by storms that occurred April 13-23.

A representative of the U.S. Small Business Administration will be at the library from 11 AM-3 PM Monday, Aug. 24 and from 1-4 PM Tuesday, Aug. 25 to help determine eligibility and provide guidance on the application process.
