Technical Depth & Wisdom Program – Dive Deeper, Grow Wiser
Nestled along one of the planet’s most remote and breathtaking coastlines, the Depth & Wisdom Program is a life-changing mentorship and education initiative that takes technical divers of all levels: OC, CCR air diluent and mix gases diver to professional and offer continuing education with some of the best partners in the industry.
More than just a dive course, Depth & Wisdom is a journey of personal and communal transformation. Guided by seasoned dive instructors, marine biologists, and community elders, participants move progressively through workshops and dives for fun or continuing education. Every skill level is paired divers or instructors to help mentor or educate them for the future goals of dive safety through education and experience.
At its heart is a mentoring relationship. Each participant is matched with a mentor who walks beside them in and out of the water – offering technical expertise, life guidance, leadership training, and a steady hand when the currents feel strong. Classroom sessions under palm roofs, hands-on training dives at pristine sites, restoration projects, and storytelling circles with elders weave technical knowledge together with cultural wisdom and personal confidence.
Depth & Wisdom: the deeper you go beneath the surface, the wiser you rise above it – for yourself, your community, and the ocean that sustains you.

Capt’n Brian and I just completed some awesome diving in the South Pacific in Guam and Chuuk “Truk” Lagoon. With over 26 hours of bottom time and numerous shipwrecks explored. . Looking into the Solomon Islands in 2 years. Let us know your interest. Thanks for being a great dive buddie Brian. Ready to help when needed and to laugh at me when appropriate. Next time maybe just a little bit more bottom time LOL. Bottom pic he captured me checking out a prop.

Plans were set two years ago for this adventure. We depart today on a shipwreck adventure that will start will a visit to Pearl Harbor. We will take a day to remember those that gave all for our freedoms. Next stop is Guam. Here we will splash into an area that allows us to touch a wreck from WWI and WWII at the same time, explore both on one dive as the lie next to each other. From there we depart to Chuuk AKA Truk lagoon for the 81 anniversary of the Operation Hailstorm. This is considered by many as pay back for Pearl Harbor. We will spend numerous hours exploring these wrecks. I was here in the 90’s. I look forward to not only the changes Mother Nature has done to the wrecks but also visiting them on CCR with mix gas vs air as the only option on my last adventure.

Feb 28th 2025 from 8am to 4pm
This is the core certification course provided by PSI-PCI and in it we teach the regulations and fundamentals of conducting visual inspections of solid wall and composite SCUBA and SCBA cylinders. The full day course is suited for those new to visual inspection as well as those who have been inspecting without formal training through its wide range of inspection subjects including damage limits, neck cracking and other cylinder issues, plus laws affecting inspectors. Additionally, this course meets the OSHA and DOT requirements for employee HAZMAT training and attendants completing the course are qualified to conduct HAZMAT training for cylinder handlers. The course also provides an overview of a variety of associated topics including requalification, oxygen cleaning, valve repair, tools, and more. For more formal training on these topics refer to Specialties below.
It is the only training formally endorsed, referred to and utilized by the cylinder manufacturers; and recognized by USDOT, Compressed Gas Association, NFPA and others. It continues to be the most up to date training available today on this subject.
Previously certified inspectors may attend this full course under the VCIR for re-qualification (see below).
