August has turned out to be a heck of a month! That being said, it's not over yet either. We've had some great times out on the water including 2 trips last weekend catching their limit by 7 am! Now the reality is August will be over before we know it and this weekend we have multiple things keeping us off the water. However we do still have August 28th 29th and 30th morning trips open to get out there and get some fish in the cooler! So who wants to get out there yet? Send me a message or give me a call! Thank you to everyone who participated in our fundraiser for the tornado victims. The support is greatly appreciated and we are very pleased with the results! Congratulations to Derek Campbell for being the top bid of the charter. Even bigger news is Derek is giving the trip back!!! What he wants to do is donate the trip to someone from menasha that was impacted by to tornado. Thats is just amazing and I love the idea. Also thank you to Frank Bauknecht who also contributed $100 going to the final donation amount as well. The Admiral and I both agreed that we would also chip in $100. So that is a grand total of $1000.00 that will go to help those of Menasha!!!! Now after talking with Derek we have come up with a game plan on how we decide who gets the trip. That is where we need the help of all our great friends and family. We need some nominations of people who were impacted by the tornado and then we are going to do a random drawing to pick the final group. So that being said does anyone know of anyone to nominate? Please message me with the nominations so we can begin to compile a list. I am not putting a expiration date on this trip because there are some things that are more important at the moment. Alright I'm doing it! I'm off the rails, but it's well worth it! As many of you know, our local area was hit with a bad tornado just yesterday. To help with the efforts, I am going to put up for auction a 4 person 6 hour charter. ALL the proceeds are going to go to help the victims of the tornado! We aren't keeping a DIME! Yes, I'm going to get yelled at! We will run it for 48 hours so the final will be at 7pm Thursday 7/30. Starting bid is $300 and how about at least a $5.00 increment increase.
