Hello Spring 2026 semester, Legacy SSS students! We're excited to have you back and for what's in store.

As legacy SSS students, you have 2 spaces on campus available to you!

You'll find the SSS MSR 245 computer lab open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, equipped with computers, printers, and staff to aid your academic journey - your academic advisors, Gaby, Annayely, Lily and Marsha are there to help you, along with other SEAS staff. Our peer mentors Gaby, Isabella, and Jade are also in MSR 245 for your support!

Additionally, the second space available for you is our empowerment, and it has moved to MSR 250, adjacent to the MSR 245 computer lab. Come see Tracy, our director, and all the SEAS staff as they are moved in the new space. Your patience is appreciated as we finalize the setup; stop by and say hello!

National First-Generation College Celebration Day is observed annually on November 8th to honor students, faculty, and staff who are the first in their family to earn a four-year undergraduate degree. The date was chosen to commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965. This legislation created federal grants and loans to make higher education more accessible to students from low-income and first-generation backgrounds.
