Hampton Creative
Doing Work That Matters. Hampton Creative is an independent branding, design and advertising agency. We exist to do Work That Matters.
We’re known for our world-class creative, marketing, web, and environmental design that inspires people and moves brands forward. We live to tell impactful stories that have both meaning and create unique experiences that move people.
Meet our Director of Account Services, Rachelle Champlain! 🎬
Rachelle is one of the first people clients connect with at Hampton, helping turn ideas, goals, and those “so here’s what we’re thinking...” conversations into momentum from day one. She makes sure clients feel connected, heard, and genuinely supported through every step of the process.
In this episode of Hampton Hot Takes, Rachelle talks about why listening is such a huge part of the way we work and why the best creative happens when you actually understand the people behind the brand.
Tune in for a closer look at the way we approach partnership at Hampton and why it matters so much to our team. 🤝

We know you’ve probably seen Dave’s videos by now…
(....and if you haven’t, what are you doing?! Go find them on our feed and come back to read this!)
Beyond the laughter and painfully accurate font assignments, did you start understanding the Hampsters a little differently based on the font they were given? 🤔 That’s because typography communicates personality before a single word is ever read.
Some fonts feel structured and dependable. Some feel bold and loud. Some feel creative, polished, or approachable. Whether people realize it or not, those visual cues shape how we experience brands almost instantly. 👀
Our new blog "Your Typography Has Something to Say" dives into the psychology behind typography and why font choices matter more than people think. Strong branding isn’t just picking a font that “looks good.” It’s understanding how visual decisions shape perceptions, tell your story, and create connections people can actually feel. 🗣️🗣️🗣️

Meet our new Graphic Designer, Kyle Magnaye! 👋
With 8 years of experience in design and creative production, Kyle has a sharp eye for visual storytelling and a style that feels expressive, intentional, and unmistakably his own.
A first-generation Filipino American, Kyle was born and raised in the Bay Area before making the move to Tulsa in 2018. 📍His creative lane lives somewhere between bold design, strong branding, and the kind of print pieces you actually want to keep… posters, vinyl, matchboxes, and anything else with a little texture and personality. 🤌
Outside of work, Kyle’s life has been pretty full lately! He recently married the love of his life, Stephanie, and is currently learning Spanish because she’s from Honduras! 💍🇭🇳
Still though, he somehow finds time to defend Steph Curry’s 2018 Finals MVP robbery.
Once you get him off the Warriors, there’s a good chance he’ll do one of the following:
1. Tell you about whatever he’s building onto the 4Runner (which is slowly but surely coming along) 🛞
2. Start swiping through Depop or Facebook Marketplace like he’s looking for hidden treasure 📱
3. Remind you that he’s the reigning 3x fantasy football champion 🏈
Kyle is also very much a by-the-book Enneagram 4, which, when you put all of this together, tracks really well... 🫂
We’re so excited to have Kyle on Team Hampton!
Swipe to learn more about him and help us welcome him in the comments below! ➡️

Welcome to Part 2 of the Hampton Typecast (according to one of our Art Directors, David Lichtenwalter)!
Dave came back with more font assignments for the team and this round got *aggressively* specific. Some people got their dream font! Others were very humbled.
There are still ongoing debates happening in the office as we speak, but regardless… watch till the end and tell us what font Dave would be 👀

From Johnie Hampton, our Founder and CEO:
"Last week, our Creative Director, Nate Olsen and I were honored to speak at Spark at the Ark, hosted by Answers in Genesis in Williamstown, KY.
We shared a presentation titled From Ark to Arc, exploring how story shapes design and brings clarity to both the work we create and the role we play in it.
Having the opportunity to present this conversation in a setting rooted in the story of The Ark really put our calling into perspective for me. It gave a different weight to the conversation, talking about design while surrounded by spaces that tell the story of creation, the Ark, and God’s perfect design behind it all.
It became an incredible reminder of The Source of creativity itself.
We also had the chance to spend time with fellow creatives, Allen Greene, Theron Skees, Chris Herschend, and Ken Ham, and it didn’t take long to notice a common thread. Different paths and areas of creative expertise, but a shared understanding of Who’s behind it all.
Connection is something we care deeply about at Hampton Creative. Not just at events, but in the work we create every day. It shapes how we connect with people and how we approach what we build. Being around others who share that perspective is something we don’t take for granted.
We’re so grateful to have been part of such an incredible event.
Thank you to the Spark at the Ark team for having us, and to everyone we had the chance to meet and spend time with throughout the conference!"

Working with In Touch Ministries and the Charles Stanley Institute is always an honor, and bringing this project to life was as well.
We had the opportunity to develop CSI’s online learning experience, grounded in the legacy of Dr. Stanley’s teaching with content designed to help people grow in the walk with Christ.
Through free, self-paced courses, Scripture-based study, and guided learning, people have a clear way to stay in the Word and keep growing in their faith, with written and video lessons that bring each topic to life. Progress tracking and certificates help mark each step along the way, while HubSpot integration helps keep communication aligned as new courses and updates become available.
Every detail was shaped to feel clear and easy for users to step into, helping people stay engaged and keep moving forward in their spiritual growth!
We’re so grateful for the InTouch and CSI team, and for the opportunity to help bring this project to life!

Welcome to Part 1 of the Hampton Typecast (according to one of our Art Directors, David Lichtenwalter).
We asked Dave to assign each person in the office a font. Some of us are still recovering, others are still trying to argue their case… and a few may never recover. Trust us, just watch till the end.
While you’re here, what font would Dave be? Drop it in the comments 👀
Part 2 coming soon.

We’ve loved working alongside The Spring on their Annual Gala these past few years, and each one leaves us more inspired than the last. This year’s Encounter Hope Gala was no different.
Throughout the entire evening, you could feel the weight of each survivor’s story, the strength behind it, and the intentionality put into every detail. We’re so grateful to work with this organization, and to play a part in something that provides real hope and makes such an impact in our community.
To Leslie Clingenpeel, and the entire team at The Spring, thank you for all you do. Congratulations on a truly incredible event, our team loved attending and getting to watch it all come to life! 👏
We’re so excited to be part of Answers in Genesis Spark at the Ark Conference in Williamstown, KY next week!
Next Wednesday, April 22, our Founder, Johnie Hampton, and Creative Director, Nate Olsen, are leading a breakout session at the Ark Encounter called From Ark to Arc: How God’s Design Shapes Every Story We Tell.
Story isn’t just something we use. It’s something we’re wired for. It shapes how people connect, what they remember, and how they experience the world around them.
This is the thinking behind the brands we build, the spaces we design, and the moments that actually stick with people. It’s also rooted in how God created us to see, feel, and connect with Him, with others, and with the story He’s still writing.
If you’ll be there, come hang with us. We’d love to see you!

We’ve never designed just to design.
We design for connection, and 2025 gave us countless opportunities to live that out. From conversations that sparked new ideas, to collaborations that pushed our creativity further, this year kept bringing us back to the heart of why we do what we do.
We say it often around here. You can’t tell a story you don’t know. In 2025, we were trusted with some incredible ones. Stories of mission, growth, courage, and creativity, shaped by teams who care deeply about the work they’re called to do.
If you welcomed us into your story this year, thank you. It’s been a privilege to walk alongside you! And if you’re stepping into a new season, rethinking your brand, or ready to tell your story in a way that matters, we’re ready to meet you there.
Here’s to what’s next, and all that 2026 holds! 🎊
