Conant Ball Modernmates Dining Table just in time for Thanksgiving!

This model extends to 96" but this table specifically does not have the accompanying leaves.

At it it sits it measures 62.25" L x 40"W

If you want leaves made for this table, I can certainly accommodate that request for additional charges.

I have a knack for copying most any part or piece to these great mid century pieces.

But im pleased with the return to original color from the dark restora-finish type oil that came off this surface.

Blanc De Chine Swag Lamp is now available!

The top cap I made on the lathe. As it happens we own a three globe model of this type of swag lamp so I really just copied the piece.

A new swag lamp kit was used to wire it. So its got the new 15ft chain and new 20ft cord.

The globe is a 10" Sphere.

Has a switch on the cord for easy on/off.

I dont often take on large dining tables, but I have a soft spot for the blond late 50s furniture!

This Conant Ball Dining Table is an internet mystery for catalogs and brochures.

It is likely part of the Leslie Diamond Modernmates Line so far as I've seen. But it definitely bridges the gap between art deco and modernism with its design details.

This will be a total restoration.

So stay plugged in the final result.

This table had seen some water damage and some sun bleaching due to what appears to be something covering the center of the table.

Clifford Pascoe Chairs are pretty awesome. This pair of Modern Masters Wrought Iron and Bentwood Birch are so timeless.

I removed 5 layers of fabric from each chair ( 4 of which I showed. The old foam was crusty, which I elected NOT to show. It felt like shifting sand in the cushions! Eww.

New Vintage Stock Striped Tweed compliments these chairs so well. NEW Foam and batting. The paint was touched up, too. Now they are as close to new as it gets!

I've got this very cool Vintage Fiberglass 12" Globe Dipping Wall Mount Lamp.

It has a rattan woven top half, and the bottom half has the fiberglass texture.

Pull chain switch for easy on/off.

The wall mount bracket allows the swing arm to move from side to side.

The cord can be drawn up to vary the hanging height.

Just finished up making this original custom modular cocktail table in Teak andn White Laminate!

It has a distinct retro look. This was made in our shop from locally sourced high-quality materials.

It was inspired by a danish modern table I saw about 8 years ago. Since then, I've always kept the design elements of trapazoid shaped tables in the back of my mind.

There are so many configurations that are possible. It can be used with a sectional, traditional sofa, or as separate tables when needed.

This pair of tables I made using a Baltic Birch Core. The tops are a Matte White Formica

I used 1" teak to create the table edges. The joints of the edge banding are carefully mitered at angles that indicate quality esthetics.

Teak legs in an offset pattern. So that's three legs per side.
