Jane Jayroe Gamble, crowned Miss Oklahoma in 1966 and Miss America in 1967, is a well-known broadcaster, author, and public official. Dear Potential Contestant:

Thank you for your interest in the 2020 Miss Brookside/Midtown & Miss Brookside/Midtown Outstanding Teen Scholarship Competition, an official preliminary to the Miss Oklahoma 2020 Competition. This year’s Competition will allow young women to compete for the title of Miss Brookside/Midtown and Miss Brookside/Midtown’s Outstanding Teen 2020 and the right to represent the Brookside or Midtown area at the 2020 Miss Oklahoma Competition in June 2020.

Competition will be held All Souls Unitarian Church 2952 S Peoria Ave, in Tulsa Oklahoma on Saturday January 11, 2020 Check-in and move in will begin at 9:00 AM. Orientation will begin at 10:00 AM. Parents are welcomed to attend the orientation. Rehearsals will begin at 10:30 AM at which time all parents, coaches, and friends will be required to leave. Pageant committee members and hostesses will be available to assist contestants throughout the day. Final competition will begin at 6:00 PM before a packed house. During opening introductions, the contestant will wear jeans, white top of their choice, and high heels.
(NOTE: SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE).

Applications are currently, and will continue to be, accepted until midnight Sunday,
December 29, 2019. The contestant’s spot will NOT be guaranteed until a complete entry packet (see document section for checklist) has been submitted on or before the deadline.
