A Note for Us All ~ Hectors. Fly High Angel.

I think we could all say more than enough about what Nan meant to us; as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, friend, and even, at one point in her working life, a dinner lady.

Losing Nan has brought a multitude of feelings. But the one I want to hold is relief knowing you are hand in hand with your lifetime love of 68 years again. Married 66. Granddad.

I didn’t truly anticipate loss until Granddad was first diagnosed with cancer — then went into remission, only to face challenges again. That’s when I realized how hard it would be to keep Nan purposeful. She had 68 years of someone gently sulking, winding her up, teasing her - and when Granddad passed, she was left with her two dumplings (sons) and her grandchildren to help fill that void.

Rest in peace, and power Nan. You are able to meet your long-time love again — in a place I imagine holds only calm, beauty, and warmth.

You are everything to each of us. Above all, you are abundant love.

She was warm.
She was kind.
She was loving.
She was protective - she showed us all what love meant and how to pass it forward.

She wouldn’t fault you, but she would always offer an opinion — whether asked for or not. She simply was love, in person form.

I know her life and her love have imprinted onto how we now love our partners, our friends, and most importantly, our children. She gave abundantly, without expectation of anything in return.

She was.
She is.
And she will always be remembered as LOVE.

Been using every other sunday at .club to simulate and got 3 different results - ALWAYS THE SAME FEELING!

Yes, I’m still here. I’ve been terrible at social media for the longest and haven’t posted in 3 months.
•
Life has been busy; work, training, sickness, health & family have all absorbed my time. But I’m back in action and ready for the warmer days!
•
I’ve been filling January with therapy, reading books, training, Lola time, blood work x 3, date night, training some more and auditions ~ Life is full on and busy and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

I have reached 2K followers! Thank you for your continued support. I could not have done it without each of you. 🙏🤗🎉

This Year: 2024 has been my best, most highly rewarded and consistent years of Health, Fitness & Activity.

Between changing my sleep pattern, waking up at 5am every day, being a part of & style competitions; to training as an accountability partner and hitting personal bests in 15k, 13.1 miles and other runs and remaining “in training” during the heaviest travel years we have had as a family… I feel like I’ve kept my annual self promise.
•
I’ll likely add a marathon next year (2025) and hopefully remain as busy with work, family and hobbies.
•

You both deserve to be celebrated every day.

I feel like the last 6 months of life, have “lifed” in every way possible. Without typing all of the good, the bad and the ugly - Just Know - I love you both so much.

For the last 7 months I have been on a health, fitness and training journey (both at the gym, home and whilst on vacations) and started every single day at 5am! This was new as my days used to start at 7am ~ or with Lola and now I’m done before she even wakes up.

I wanted to practice discipline, hard work, maximum effort, consistency & grit to see if this 37 year old could build muscle, cut body fat and also continue consistently and not just for a month. 7 months later and sticking to a semi regimented nutrition plan with super consistent training; I may be close to the best shape of my life! LFG!

As we approach the 1 year anniversary in which I lost my granddad. We all lost our granddad, dad, brother, great granddad, family & friend… I have sat more so in my head than with my family. We had booked to be with my american family over the same timeframe; in nature and where we find happiness easily. But I have for sure still been in deep thought.

Grief isn’t easy and can be painful. I have continuously tried to neglect the pain and focus only on the memories which serve a positive impact ~ which isn’t always easy. I’ve found joy in spending time with colleagues, friends, family and most of all ~ my two loves 💕•

The gratitude I feel for the man who shaped so much of life; shines on through the beauty of life and its signs that you are still watching, happily and proudly.

Here’s coming closer to the first full year without you sending daily messages. I love you forever! ♾️

Sometimes it's nice to walk in the grass bare foot, feel the sun on your face, smile and truly feel the gratitude of life. Lucky to be here, living through these chapters with you all. Don't forget to love on those around you!

Feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude & achievement. I’ve had Lola as a standalone daddy for 6-7 days and boy O boy was it a ride!

Between working & managing some of the busiest work months I’ve ever seen; to bathing, swimming, feeding & keeping a 2.5 going on 25 year old entertained has been both tough and mighty rewarding. I had 60-90 minutes a morning on my own, to get all work done whilst on the elliptical (then some more work in nap times) and around the days Lola found joy running too, and away from the ocean waters alone (which was rare). Single parents who do this day in, day out with their kids home schooled deserve a medal! Ya’ll are the MVP’s!!!!

This morning I have help from our babysitter and OJ returns this afternoon; but i took these hours from 4am to catch up on work and train like it was my last day on earth! so far I’ve smashed conquer and done a 6 miler run! now in my 3rd hour I am walking up hill!

We can do hard things! Lola’s new-found 4am wake time has been tough; but it takes me back to the days i would train before, during lunch & after work with my long days at Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan & the LME! I am left today in total gratitude thinking about the companies i’ve worked for and the experience i’ve gained from some of the best mentors in the Game! Both in London and the USA! But most of all, for the love and amazement I have around being a father to the most beautiful, fun, cheeky, talented little wonderer I’ve come to father… my sweet Loli girl 🧒 ❤️💫•

Happy Early Mother’s Day, Mothers Weekend or Mothers Lifetime… You are magnificent in everything you do. We are so lucky to have you & so appreciative for you.
