Is it my alternator or my battery that has failed? Most people assume that when the battery light comes on that it is due to a battery. While that seems like a logical assumption, the light comes on when there is a failure with the alternator. The Alternator supplies power to the battery to keep it charged while the vehicle is running. When the alternator fails, the battery alone cannot supply enough power to keep the vehicle running for long periods at a time and will often die while driving.

While we see our fair share of unusual cars, we don't see very many of the Integra Type-S. This owner wanted to take it to the next level with an upgraded turbocharger, larger injectors and a high flow high pressure pump to support E85. The vehicle was already slightly modified and producing around 390hp at the wheels, this should get it to 450hp range. This is an incredible build and will surely bring lots of smiles per gallon 😄

Did you know that per Honda maintenance, a valve adjustment is recommended at 100k miles? Over time the valves become too tight and can burn a hole in the valves. We suggest having a valve adjustment done by 120k miles to prevent damage to the engine and avoid costly repairs.

Hondas are know for oil consumption issues. This can lead to many problems like low oil pressure and most commonly misfires due oil fouling the spark plugs. We highly recommend regular oil services and making sure to check and top off oil in between services.
