Blacklight 13
We’re like Mr. Haney’s truck for people raised on HR Pufnstuf, Lidsville, Dark Shadows, Hammer Horrors, Groovy Goolies, Black Sabbath and LSD. We have stuff.
Stuff you want and stuff we want you to have. It should always be that simple.
There’s some new folks here so let me remind you that we don’t do anything here on FcBk and encourage you to use our website blacklight13.com as a primary point of contact.
Due to technical difficulties, I will not be in today (Friday, April 9, 2021).
I will be in as usual both Saturday and Sunday, the 10th and 11th respectively.
We’re going to have the bad buggy out today at 4:30.
Clients should call for our location.
Rev. Dr. Lloyd is at the stall to minister unto your needs until 4P.
The website is back up and running.
The website should be everyone’s primary contact point.
I usually update it daily.
Stuck for hours at the Cherokee Nation Tag Agency. I don’t know if I’m going to make it today.
Phones are somewhere on the farm.
I am at the stall.
It looks like we are going to be able to survive this mess.
For the rest of the summer, we will focus strictly on making ourselves less vulnerable to this kind of idiocy and supporting the Ashley family in keeping the Great American Flea Market alive.
To the best of my knowledge, not a one of us have received any kind of compensation and many of us will be starting over again with even less than we had the first time - we're the lucky ones. The majority of vendors I saw leaving have been women, immigrants and people of color - all poor and marginalized peoples fighting for their survival. They are strong, proud and honorable people who never deserved to be treated this way. I will miss them greatly and will be much the poorer person for their loss.
You guys are the greatest. Together, we kept things working and kept ourselves as close to normal as the outside world would permit. Now we have to rebuild ourselves and the world around us so that we will ALL be ready for whatever comes next.
I’ll be in as soon as I get a break in the rain.
We are back in the stall, Friday through Sunday, from Noon’ish to 4P.
Yep, the good reverend is available to hear your most tantalizing confession.
