I've been making a bunch of mugs this week, with the intention of trying to recreate some glaze effects from a couple of years ago. Wish me luck!

Here are some of my new earrings. I have a whole bunch of low fire clay to experiment with. I'm used to working with cone 6 or cone 10, so this is something new for me. The designs are digitally modified versions of some of the tiles that I have made in the past, converted to a high contrast black and white, which I used to make my own transfers.

Sometimes tools are beautiful too. Here is a banding wheel at red heat

There’s still one more day left of our sale if you haven’t made it yet! Red heat ceramics at 8th and Utica in Tulsa! Thank you to my friend Adam for the photo!

My friend Adam took this picture of me at my booth last night. If you haven't made it to the sale at Red Heat yet, don't worry! We are also open tomorrow from 10:00 until 3:00.

Here's a few things that just came out of the kiln, just in time for the sale at Red Heat this weekend.

Trying to figure out what to bring to our sale next weekend, and thinking about some different ways to display things. Plus I will have several goblets that are coming out of the kiln today!!

Ps, I used AI to help edit some of my images due to the poor lighting in my garage. So it will be interesting to see how/if this post gets flagged/labeled. I still think things look very true to life.

Yesterday was my first full day of teaching classes at @302 in Broken Arrow. One of my students there is an enthusiastic and talented 18 year old potter that reminds me of two of my friends from Red Heat, Joseph and Ayden, who have flown the coop and are off to new adventures.

really wants to participate in a wood firing. Is there a way we can keep him in the loop if anyone hears of something on the horizon? ❤️❤️🔥🔥

Pictured is Ayden peering in to the kiln that he, Lowell and Joseph built at Red Heat.

Don't miss the Ruby Clay Market this Saturday! I'll be there with earrings, wall tiles, stopperless salt shakers, sake cups, and more! Swing by and check out the unique designs, like these stopperless salt shakers that fill from the bottom. See you there!
