Shoutout to Master Larry Wells for hosting a fantastic Whirlwind Classic over the weekend! It was a masterclass in how modern technology can make a tournament run flawlessly.

The real highlights, though, were the students who went out there and gave it their all.

This is what training at Tulsa Kung Fu is really about.

Strong students. Strong friendships. Strong community.

We train hard. We push. We hold a high standard.
But just as important, we show up for each other.

Days like this matter. Time outside the kwoon.
Laughing, playing, sitting around the fire, just being a team.

And it’s not just the students.
The families who support them and support this school showed up, brought food, spent the day together, and made this something special.

That’s where real bonds are built.
And those bonds carry right back into the training.
