Hey friends 🤍 quick little recovery update.

OT has officially cleared me to start back to work next Tuesday, but with a very light schedule while I continue healing. I’ve got about 75% range of motion going down, but only around 25% going up at the wrist, and it’s still pretty tender.

I’m deep in aggressive OT right now to make sure I’m strong, steady, and actually ready — not rushing it just to rush it. Progress is happening, even on the days it feels slow 💪

I appreciate every bit of patience, encouragement, and check-in more than I can say. Can’t wait to ease back into doing what I love, one careful step at a time ✨

Recovery update for my amazing clients and friends 💜
My stitches came out this week, which has made a huge difference in comfort, and I’ve been cleared to slowly start using my hand again — just carefully and within my limits (still on a 5 lb lifting restriction for now).
I’m healing really well and staying right on track to be back behind the chair in February. Thank you so much for all the patience, kindness, and support you’ve shown me during this recovery. It truly means more than you know, and I can’t wait to see you all soon. ✨

Week one update:
I am missing every one of you so bad!! I cant wait to get back to the salon! The wxtra family time has been amazing but im not built for staying home lol
Honestly this was way easier than I anticipated on the pain levels! Fingers are still stiff and can’t move my hand around too much but starting to get some use back already. Bruising was minimal and pain has mostly been managed with ibuprofen and Tylenol. The worst part is remembering I can’t use that hand, getting frustrated because I have to ask for help and that my energy has been drained. Ricky Bennett has done an excellent job taking care of me and letting me rest (love you lots!)
I’ve been napping and doing puzzles but I can feel the cabin fever building daily.
