Just a note to let everyone know we will be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday, 6/11.

We will be open again on Friday at 11am.

Two of my remaining three seniors have been ill for quite some time now and this week they decided they'd had enough and it was time for the next part of their journey. Tucker was almost 15 and we'd had him since he was 3 months old--he grew up with my boys. The other was Leo, many of you may remember him from PACC. He was 12 1/2. I was lucky to be their mom and my heart is utterly broken with their passing. Letting two go in two days is a pain I don't wish upon anyone.

Big shouts out to Sabino Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Barrett with Kindred Spirits In-Home Euthanasia and Dr. Paula with Cholla Afterlife Aquamation. (FB isn't letting me tag anyone but Paula) They were all amazing and made such awful experiences as gentle as they could possibly be.

We will be back at it on Friday, I just need tomorrow to be with their sister and to rest my heart a bit. Then it's back to doing all we can to save the precious shelter dogs whom we love just as much as if they were our own.
