This summer, our community came together to make a difference.
Banner - University Medicine Sports Medicine provided more than 620 no-cost sports physicals to student-athletes from 40+ schools and educational organizations across southern Arizona, more than doubling the number served in 2025.
This effort was made possible through the dedication of our physicians, fellows, residents, athletic trainers, staff, and University of Arizona student volunteers, all working together to help remove barriers to youth sports participation. Beyond clearing athletes for play, our team also connected families with specialty care when additional medical needs were identified, ensuring students received the follow-up they needed.
We're also grateful to the Tucson Conquistadores for their generous $25,000 donation to the Game On Foundation, helping sustain these no-cost sports physicals and expand future community outreach.
Thank you to everyone who made these events possible.
