Caught Up Dancing

This girl. I’m very proud of her after this weekend.

I didn’t make it out of prelims, but for the first time in my WCS career I am so happy watching these dances back. I can see where my dance has changed and become my own as well as still looking confident with every leader.

My first DCS was great! I hope I’ll be able to come back soon!

Let’s get Caught Up Dancing y’all!! 🧡

During Aidan & Talía’s workshop this past weekend, while I was participating as a student, I was so happy to hear and see them teach and talk about the same things I teach during my Wednesday west coast swing classes at Invictus.

I will say I know I have trained under some of the same names that many of the higher level dancer & instructors have also trained under, but it still feels so good to be validated that what I’m teaching is the same.

I’m so lucky to be able to bring this knowledge to my local community so they don’t have to wait for these special workshops or spend hundreds on private lessons/coaching. This also provides student to focus during these workshops because they aren’t being over loaded with new info and can absorb the things they haven’t heard before. I know I still learned new stuff on Saturday!
