We are a small Tucson-based group following the earliest model of the church. And we do it all without accepting a single dollar. None. No one gets paid.
We work with a large group homeless men & women in downtown Tucson, providing food, medical care, and life-saving supplies. The earliest followers of Jesus followed these rules: 1. They loved God in their own way and let others do the same. 2. They showed their love for others in every way they could. 3. They did all of this without taking money. Workship follows the lead of the earliest followers
of Jesus and takes no money. No buildings get built. No fundraisers are held. Instead, 100% of our efforts go to directly helping those in need. Using this earliest-church model, Workship provided over 15,000 meals last year to the hungry in Tucson alone. Come join us every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. as we carry out this mission at the Z-Mansion. Lend your skills in the kitchen to help cook hundreds of hot meals, help pack sacked lunches, or just lend an ear to one of our friends in the courtyard. Volunteers of all kinds (regardless of age or religious affiliation) are welcome. We can always use another set of hands! Also, donations of all kinds (except, of course, money) are welcome. Food, clothing, hygiene products - everything can be put to use here! We even have an Amazon list so you can ship things right to us: http://amzn.com/w/1ZEJDU7WDPMJG
