Current project...turn of the century cradle fix and return to it's natural state.

Placing it for a few days to decide if we're going to call it the "finished" product......LOVING it!

Every so often something actually looks WORSE after prepping for the finishing work! LOL With that being said, I'm very drawn to this look and now am left contemplating whether to recreate this "worn" look with the new color scheme as opposed to doing the more modern style that I had originally intended.....hmmm....thoughts?

My other new experiment is wine cork projects. These are what I've done so far. The art pieces and the serving tray/trivet are all done on stained barn style wood. What do you all think? Yay or nay?!

This nightstand was a bit of a challenge, and the drawer was beyond saving, but when we got past the contact paper and paint there was solid wood underneath, and THIS gal can ALWAYS use more plant stands! =)
