Project Chasing Life is a tax exempt 501(c)3 registered charity that provides young adult cancer patients and survivors a chance to check something off their bucket list. We want to give them a chance to feel “normal” even if it’s just for a bit. As a stage 2 breast cancer survivor I understand this all too well. I gained my membership to this club in July of 2014 at the age of 31. With the suppor
t of friends and loved ones I found the strength to get through multiple surgeries and a five month chemotherapy regiment. I will always cherish the support and love that I have gotten from everyone around me; nothing can change that. As I grow and learn I have found comradery in the company of other patients and survivors. We have a language all our own and understand the things that others can’t possibly relate to. I feel a sense of community with this group and also a calling to provide as many opportunities as possible for others going through the same struggles. Not everyone can afford to venture out and explore the world. This is a void where we can help. Our organization was established to provide these opportunities to others. Through generous donations and fundraising efforts, we hope to help someone in the "club" check something off their bucket list. Cancer patients and survivors have fought hard to just live. Now we want to help them writing a happier chapter in their lives. We are Project Chasing Life…
