After having a very sh*tty week I got a Christmas surprise today. After the proofs were worked out there was a delay in the shirts. Figured I wouldn't see these till after the holidays. Just giving you an idea of what 2018 is going to look like. Still need to make some tweeks but you get the general idea.

Probably the last one of 2017. Finishing the year off with something clean and classic.

Nice to be back in the shop. Makes that time away seem even more saddening.

Getting back into the swing of things. Look for a strong 2018.

Need some help. Top or bottom for our last chef knife of 2017.

So I have never went out and made art for the purpose of just looking at it. I like to consider most of my blades as functional art. Something made to be used. However, I do like making little trees....lol. I was thinking of incorporating this into an Ebony knife stand but I might just put a base on this and let it roll as is. Thoughts?

Again, Sorry for the hiatus. Life kinda gets in the way sometimes. I have a couple of blades that I had received back from heat treat and have been sitting around. My goal for the rest of 2017 is to get these finished up. However this design for my 8" Chef will not be carried into 2018. New Year and new designs. Time to switch it up a bit. I have two of these. One will be done classically in this gorgeous figured wood I got from someone? a very long time ago? Not sure what it is but it's gorgeous.

Well the shop is still filled with patio furniture and our hurricane supplies but I'll get cleaned up by this weekend. In the mean time......CHEERS!
Nov 2017 Knives Illustrated
Hey folks. Ducking out again for a bit. We have the chance of some inclimate weather so we've prepped the shop for possible standing water.

So I got a call from a local Tampa company asking if I want to get my magazine article mounted and framed. Apparently that's what what the company does. I said "sure you got the right guy"...lol. He stated my name and company and talked about how awesome the article was. I still responded with a "huh!". He's said "guess you haven't seen it yet?". He sent it over to me and apparently an email exchange, a little Q&A, and a couple of pics with a guy from Knives Illustrated has come to fruition. I'll be in the November edition I rekon with a full page to boot. I'll post the article when I get the digital version. Good stuff coming I promise. Stay tuned.
