Friday Favorites 💙 Every Friday this summer, we’re going to feature one of our favorite things about going to GCA! This week: Chapel

Worship, games, and Scripture-filled messages are a part of every week. There’s nothing else like gathering as an entire GCA family to praise Jesus.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since we closed out another incredible school year at GCA! From Water Day, to the final Chapel of the year, to sweet Promotion Ceremonies, the end of the year was full of memories. 💙 GCA Families, how has your first week of summer been?

Water Day 2026 was a blast! Our students in preschool all the way through high school enjoyed slides, games, dunking their teachers and worship team staff in the dunk tank, Italian ice treats, and more. What an amazing way to slide into summer! 😎💦☀️

🐣 Look what’s hatched in our Third Grade classes! As an engaging end of year science unit, our students got to observe the life cycle of chicks and ducks. Everyone enjoyed the snuggles once the new babies arrived. What a fun way to wrap up learning about the world God has created!

Our Second Graders did an amazing job with their Wax Museum yesterday. Each student researched, planned, and created a presentation on an inspirational individual. GCA staff, students, and families enjoyed visiting the Wax Museum throughout the day. Great job Second Grade students and teachers!

GCA’s First Annual Fine Arts Night was a beautiful reminder of the blessing of biblical community. Watching our students use their God-given gifts to glorify Him while families, teachers, and friends gathered together in worship was truly special.

God is so good, and He continues to reveal His goodness in moments like these. A huge thank you to Mrs. Carr, Mrs. Newman, and Mr. Morocco for creating such a meaningful evening and for the countless hours poured into making it all possible! Every one of our GCA performers and artists did an incredible job. Of course, thank you to our parents for showing up in such a big way to support our Fine Arts program. 🎵💙🎨

Our eighth graders and their teachers had a blast at Universal‘s Gradventure event on Friday! Making special memories like these is such a blessing.

This week, we welcomed many of our incoming kindergarten students to GCA’s Kindergarten Signing night. Students and families got to tour the Learning Center, meet our amazing kindergarten teachers, and officially “sign” as GCA Lions for the 2026-27 school year. We’re so excited to see our newest Lions on campus next year.

Bravo to the cast and crew of Little Women! Our GCA students and staff poured their hearts into this year’s school production and delivered an incredible performance. We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and talent they displayed on stage and behind the scenes. A huge thank you our head director, Mrs. Owens, and to our families for your continued support and for showing up to celebrate our students in such a big way! ✨
