This is common to see, especially when a home has been neglected for some time. What happens is the water seeps through the concrete sill and once it hits the rebar, it....

Frontline Property Inspections on Google It is rare to see settlement cracks on homes or buildings that are actually concerning. However, today's home was a special example of "BAD" settlement. The step cracks on this home measured up to 1 3/8" . I recommended a structural engineer to get involved for further evaluation on this home and to...

Frontline Property Inspections, LLC on Google As I hear time and time again from clients and realtors – “this inspection is going to be a piece of cake, the home was just remodeled and it in great shape!” Before getting into the bulk of the job, I flipped open a kitchen cabinet door as I walked by and the door got caught on a light fixtur...

Frontline Property Inspections, LLC on Google Today's inspection had so many structural issues that my client decided to cancel the inspection part way through and will be shopping for another home instead. During this home inspection, I was having a difficult time figuring out the trick to turning on this sink faucet. The faucet handle must lift upwards for the water to turn on. The problem is the medicine cabinet is mounted within a quarter inch of the faucet. The homeowner passed by and noticed the confused look on my face. She explained that you have to open the medicine cabinet doors to operate the faucet...then she offered a demonstration. I must have still looked confused but the matter was simplified when she said "I just love that tall faucet and HAD to have it".
Do you think the new owners will keep this arrangement?
