The contract is the part of buying a home you can't skim.
It's dense because it has to hold up. Every date in it is doing a job.
If you've ever nodded along to a clause you didn't follow, that's a normal reaction to a document like this. It usually shows up right when you're excited and short on time. 🏡
Before you sign, I walk you through it section by section. The deadlines, and what happens if one slips.
You're allowed to ask what a line means. As many times as you need. 💛

This morning, RE/MAX Champions spent some time volunteering at the HEP Thrift Store, supporting the incredible work of the Homeless Empowerment Program.
While we were busy organizing and sorting through the different departments, you KNOW we couldn’t help but come across a few good finds. 🤩
Then my bestie found this sign and said, “Let’s take a picture!”
Great idea...except neither of us “not-so-tech-savvy” gals realized the sign would come out BACKWARDS. 🤦♀️😂
We are officially 2 Non Blondes. 😂🤣
A great morning giving back to the community, finding a few treasures, and having plenty of laughs along the way. This is one of the many reasons I love being part of RE/MAX Champions! ❤️💙

🙌 WE DID IT!! 🏡🔑
There may have been a few times during this Colorado-to-Florida relocation when we wondered if we’d get to say those words, which makes this closing that much sweeter!
When I say this transaction was a roller coaster ride, that might actually be an understatement. 🎢 My buyer hadn’t been through the mortgage process in more than 30 years, and so much has changed. Between financing requirements, deadlines, a cross-country move, and life happening all at once, there were moments when getting to the closing table felt anything but certain.
But we kept going. 💛
After a couple of extensions, A LOT of communication, and more than a few twists and turns, by the grace of God and some incredible teamwork, we got it done! 🙌
This closing truly took a village. Both agents, the lender, and the title company worked diligently together to navigate each challenge and keep things moving forward. I’m so grateful for everyone who stayed focused on finding solutions instead of giving up when things got difficult.
And now, I finally get to say...
