π§ GE Front-Load Washer Repair β Drain Problem Solved!
Our customer was experiencing a serious issue with their GE front-load washer: the machine stopped draining, leaving the drum full of water and preventing the wash cycle from completing.
Our technician performed a complete diagnostic inspection of the drain system and electrical components. During the troubleshooting process, we determined that the drain pump was not receiving the proper command from the main control board.
After removing and inspecting the control board, we found visible signs of overheating and electrical damage on the board, confirming the source of the failure.
β
Complete diagnostic performed
β
Drain system and electrical circuit checked
β
Damaged main control board identified
β
Main control board replaced and properly programmed
β
Drain operation and washer functions tested
After the repair, the washer immediately restored proper drain operation and is now working normally again.
Electronic control problems can sometimes look like a failed pump, motor, or other component. Proper diagnostics are important before replacing parts unnecessarily.
If your washer wonβt drain, stops during a cycle, leaves water in the drum, or displays an error, give QualFix Appliance Repair a call. Weβll be happy to help!

Washer Maintenance Tip from QualFix Appliance Repair
Today we performed a deep cleaning on an LG front-load washer. The customer was initially considering replacing the door gasket due to mold and buildup, but fortunately, we were able to thoroughly clean the gasket and other affected areas and significantly improve its condition.
Regular maintenance can help prevent this problem from getting to the point where parts need to be replaced.
For front-load washers, we recommend:
β’ Run the Tub Clean / Self Clean cycle regularly. This feature is often overlooked, but it helps remove detergent residue, buildup, and odor-causing contaminants inside the washer.
β’ Check and clean the drain pump filter periodically. A clogged filter can contribute to drainage problems, unpleasant odors, and poor washer performance.
β’ Keep the detergent dispenser and door gasket clean, especially the folds of the gasket where moisture and residue can accumulate.
β’ After washing, leave the door slightly open and allow the interior to dry whenever possible.
β’ Avoid using excessive detergent, as residue can build up inside the machine over time.
Ignoring routine cleaning can lead to persistent odors, heavy buildup, and mold growth. Once mold becomes deeply embedded in the rubber door gasket, even professional cleaning may not completely remove the staining or contamination, and gasket replacement may eventually be necessary.
A little preventive maintenance can go a long way toward keeping your washer clean, fresh, and operating properly.

π₯ Electric Range Burner Repair β Another Successful Fix! π§
Our customer was experiencing an issue with one of the burners on their electric range. The outer section was heating normally, but the inner heating element was not working at all.
After performing a diagnostic inspection, we quickly identified the problem: one section of the dual radiant surface element had burned out and could no longer produce heat.
We ordered the correct replacement part and successfully replaced the faulty burner element. After installation, we tested the range to make sure both heating zones were operating properly again. β
If youβre having trouble with your range, refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher, or other household appliance, feel free to contact us.

GE Front-Load Washer Repair β No Drain / Cycle Stops Before Spin
Our customer was experiencing an issue with their GE front-load washer where water remained inside the tub and the machine would stop before completing the cycle.
During diagnosis, the drain pump was initially suspected. However, instead of simply replacing parts, we tested the complete drain circuit, including the wiring, drain pump resistance, and the voltage being supplied from the main control board.
Testing showed that the main control board was not providing the required voltage to the drain pump when the washer reached the drain stage before the spin cycle. As a result, the washer could not drain the water and the cycle would stop.
Further diagnosis pointed to a failure involving the main control board and its integrated water-level/pressure sensing system. On this particular model, the water-level sensing function is incorporated into the main control board rather than being serviced as a separate component. Therefore, replacement of the complete main control board was required.
A replacement control board was ordered and installed, restoring normal operation. The washer now drains properly and completes the cycle as designed.
Accurate diagnosis matters β testing the circuit before replacing parts can save both time and unnecessary repair costs.

π§ Noisy Dryer? We Can Help!
Our customer contacted us because their dryer was making a loud squeaking noise while running.
During our diagnostic inspection, we found a very common dryer issue β worn drum support rollers. Over time, these rollers can wear out and cause squeaking, grinding, or other excessive noise as the drum rotates.
We successfully replaced the drum roller set, tested the dryer, and confirmed proper operation. The dryer is now running smoothly and quietly again! β

π§ Serious Washer Leak β Fixed! π§
Our customer was dealing with a major water leak from their washing machine. Water continued to flow heavily even when the washer was turned off, creating a serious risk of flooding and water damage.
After a thorough diagnostic inspection, we found the cause: a large crack in the housing of the water inlet valve assembly.
We replaced the damaged water inlet valve, carefully tested the washer for leaks and proper operation, and confirmed that everything is now working exactly as it should. β
Another problem solved and another appliance back in service!

π§ Dryer Repair β Problem Solved!
One of our returning customers contacted us after their dryer suddenly stopped working properly. The dryer displayed an error code, a noticeable mechanical noise could be heard, and the drum would not rotate.
After performing a complete diagnostic, we discovered the cause: a piece of clothing had been pulled into the blower housing and became lodged in the blower mechanism, preventing it from operating correctly.
The reason this happened was that the dryer had been operated without the lint filter installed. Without the filter in place, the clothing item was pulled through the lint-filter opening and eventually made its way into the blower assembly.
β
Foreign object removed
β
Blower assembly inspected
β
Dryer tested
β
Unit is operating normally again
Fortunately, no major parts needed to be replaced, and we were able to get our customerβs dryer back up and running.
Important tip: Never operate your dryer without the lint filter installed. Besides allowing clothing or debris to enter the blower system, it can also lead to excessive lint buildup and airflow problems.

π§ Washing Machine Water Leak Repair β Same-Day Service
Our customer contacted us after noticing a water leak coming from their washing machine.
After a thorough diagnostic inspection and partial disassembly of the unit, we found the source of the problem: the water-level pressure sensor tube connected to the washer tub had become detached and was damaged, causing water to leak from the machine.
The damaged tube was removed and successfully replaced the same day. After completing the repair, we tested the washing machine to make sure everything was operating properly and confirmed that the leak had been completely eliminated. β
