When we moved our yearling stud c**t to a new paddock a couple of nights before, I couldn't resist taking a couple of nice shots. Thor (registered name Splash Of Creamy Flames) is growing up so fast and turning into such a lovely boy. The last picture is of Thor with his half-brother Zeus (registered name Grayscale Dreams Of Zeus), now a 2-year-old gelding as well as our resident old man, Apache. Champ sure makes some beautiful babies!

We were so excited to receive Apollo's coat color analysis last night. To our great surprise, this little c**t ended up homozygous for the red gene and the champagne color gene. Just wowee! He also ended up with one copy of the cream gene, making him a gorgeous Gold Cream Champagne (with so many color possibilities between Champ and our mares, we always like to check before registering so we know we get our paperwork correct). Add in his sweet, adorable nature, natural movement, and the great brain he's already exhibiting, and we truly feel blessed with this little son of Champ! So cute!
