Pellet Envy

In August 2025, I shared this image here without crediting the person who created it. The box belongs to Phil Breeden of LC BBQ and was his 1st Place entry at the 2024 Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue.

At turn-in, Phil’s son confidently declared that this entry was going to win, even though Phil himself had some reservations. As it turned out, his son was right.

While it was never my intention to claim this work as my own, posting the image without proper attribution created that impression. The box was not my work then, and it is not my work now.

I want to publicly apologize to Phil for using the image without giving him the credit he deserved. This is an outstanding box, and Phil’s talent, effort, and accomplishment deserve to be recognized. Congratulations again to LC BBQ on a well-earned win.

My friends at the St. Louis BBQ Store posted something just like this in the Reel the other day to let folks know B-V was back in stock. Anybody used this product before it was taught in Pellet Envy classes as part of my brisket wrap?
