Topeka High School

Today we honored our Topeka High September Staff Members of the Month, Mr. Jake Grindol, and Ms. Jacquelyn Bliss. One staff member said about Jake, “he is always eager, good humored, and quick to respond to issues.” Ms. Bliss was recognized for her “positive leadership of Student Government and her energetic presence in the classroom. Ms. Bliss is instrumental in providing a culture of student leadership and helping students grow and thrive in opportunity.” Congratulations to you both! Hoy! Hoy!

Congratulations to our 2026 Homecoming King and Queen: Noah Babiera and Kimora Akins!

Meet your 2026 Homecoming Queen and King candidates! We hope to see everyone at the crowning before the football game tonight at 6:30; the game starts at 7!

Make sure to visit the floats from the parade outside of Hummer before the game as well to see all of our students' hard work!

Due to the predicted weather conditions for the afternoon, we are canceling the Homecoming Parade. Students will return from lunch to their Trojan Time as previously planned. They will remain in Trojan Time until Running of the Halls at 1:30. Band Members, Cheerleaders, Dance Team Members and Varsity Athletes will be released at 1:15 to prepare for Running of the Halls starting on the first floor. Students will then be asked to return to Trojan Time briefly before being dismissed to the auditorium by announcement for the Homecoming Assembly which will start at approximately 2:00. When the Homecoming Assembly is finished, students will be released for the day.

The Homecoming Crowning will still take place, as planned, at 6:30 this evening before the football game at Hummer Sports Park.

Thank you for your understanding and support of Topeka High School. Hoy! Hoy!

Happy Homecoming! From former students to current staff members, we live HOY HOY MIGHTY TROY!

Picture day retakes are happening in a few weeks on October 15!
If you forgot to get your picture taken or want a total redo, make sure to dress your best for the 15th.
