I have been so excited for Mac Barnett's newest book - John's Turn.

In this story, it's John's turn to perform in front of the school.
Other kids have performed music or magic. John is going to dance! 🩰

The simple, sweet illustrations capture John's emotions as he nervously awaits her performance. As he begins to dance, the nerves are replaced with joy!

I adore this story because of John's bravery. And I appreciate this story because boys who dance deserve to see themselves represented. 💜
