Cyclone Road is apparently infested with AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopters replete with a M230 chain guns under their forward fuselage and four hardpoints on stub-wing pylons bristling with AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 rocket pods so...best of luck to all backroad dopers & poachers!! 🤣

182nd to P Rd in Jackson county. All the other minimal maintenance roads were fairly dry today. This one was very slick, tacky mud!

Flint Hills ADV Route - Google My Maps 450 miles of the Kansas Flint Hills -Northbound west route from Oklahoma to Cedar Vale is 14 miles. -Northbound west route Cedar Vale to Eureka 100 miles -Northbound east route Eureka to Strong City 103 miles -Northbound Strong City to Council Grove 55 miles -Northbound Council Grove to Eskridge 32....

This Saturday 16 bikepackers will leave Emporia on the inaugural Flint Hills Ultra Gravel Route. A status route circling the Flint Hills. The route is also an excellent driving route. You don’t need 4 wheel drive but I’d advise having some vehicle clearance and some tough tires. If you see a cyclist, by themselves and they have bags all over their bike…they are probably on this journey.

94th street on the west side of Jefferson County. A mud road that wasn't as wet as I expected after a couple inches of rain.
