Hello friends and patrons! Just a little public service announcement to share today. You may have heard that this week we hosted Adam Hamilton, who is a candidate running for Senate this coming election, here at the cafe for an informational town hall meeting. We have also extended an invitation for Roger Marshall to come speak at the cafe as well, but have not yet gotten a response. As a coffee shop and church, we may not and do not advocate for specific candidates and we must offer equal opportunity for all parties to speak here. We do want to offer community opportunities for all who wish to utilize our space, and we are proud of the diversity of folks who walk into our doors. We maintain our personal preferences for candidates as a private matter, and continue to welcome all regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political views, and more. We have a code of conduct at our cafe that calls for mutual respect and a general ethic of doing no harm. Thank you for your friendship and your patronage.

Last week our tasty “dinner” filling option for our classic “breakfast” burritos and quesadillas was a success!

We are offering the same special this week for those of you who missed out 😞 (or those of you who want to order it again 🙂 ❤ !)

And did we mention…it’s only $6?

This special is available anytime Friday September 18, while supplies last.
We are open 6:45 am to 9 pm on Fridays.

We made a double recipe so you might even be able to order this special for your Saturday lunch. Maybe. 😉

After a delicious week of taste-testing and sampling, we are ready for you to order our NEW Friday special — a vegan and gluten-free filling for burritos and quesadillas made with brown rice, red quinoa, peppers, onion, corn, black beans, tomatoes and chili-inspired seasoning.

Our Filling Friday special can be prepared for you as a classic burrito or quesadilla for $6, or you can add a protein (pork sausage or vegan sausage) for $1 more.

For a vegan meal, please request vegan cheese.
For a gluten-free meal, request a gluten free tortilla.
We can also serve you a Filling Friday grain bowl without a tortilla, and add cheddar cheese, sour cream and salsa on top, at your request.
