REX 1727

This afternoon was absolutely tumultuous, the freshmen on 1727K made it up to quarter -finals before being done in by their opponents and the seniors on 1727N climbed their way to the semi-finals before meeting the same fate.

Overall, our teams made an excellent show of their abilities this week and we'll be looking forward to another attempt next year!!!

Qualifications have finished up and so have Alliance Selections!! 1727N is the 11th seed captain in the Arts Division and 1727K got picked by the 12 seed captain in the Engineering Division.
Come watch their efforts when Elimination matches begin at 1:00 pm CST (2:00 pm EST).

Day 2 of Worlds closes out net positive for REX as we saw some unfortunate losses for 1727R but several wins between 1727K and 1727N.

1727K: 6-2
1727N: 5-3
1727R: 2-6

Each team has two more matches before Divisional Eliminations tomorrow and potentially the Dome!!!

We're just about finished our lunch break on day two and we've had an eventful time so far. Teams 1727K and 1727R have had a slightly rough morning, with a record 2-2 each. The seniors on 1727N though are going strong with a match record of 3-1!!!

It's the end of day 1 of VEX Worlds and all REX teams are starting off with a 1-0 record!! Check-in tomorrow when we resume the competition!!

FRC had a terrific run at worlds last week. While the team was unfortunately ousted in Eliminations, they walked away with the Industrial Design Award for their Division!!

This week, our VEX teams are in Dallas once again for the VEX World Championship. Wishing the best of luck to the K, N, and R teams.

REX ended the first day of matches yesterday with an excellent 4-1 record and starts off strong today with a big win which puts them at 5-1 and ranked 11th in their division!!!

A big congratulations to our teams 1727K and 1727R for being crowned the winners of this year's Maryland Highschool VRC State Championship this weekend.

They'll be moving on to compete in the World Championship later this April in Dallas, Texas where they'll also be joined by our team 1727N who qualified through their high skills-score ranking!

Dulaney VEX Robotics came ready to compete at the BCPS CTE event today. All teams performed spectacularly both in qualifications and skills as well as walking away with both Tournament Champion trophies and the Skills Champion Trophy.

A very successful competition day this past Saturday up at the Hereford Stampede event. All teams performed great in the face of stiff competition, two of our teams; our seniors on 1727B and our freshman on 1727K walked away Tournament Champions!
