Company Party at the Maryland Zoo!

KatzAbosch and Bluestone Services held a super fun holiday party at the MD Zoo, Penguin House. Daphne, the African Penguin Ambassador, was so cute, as was the whole colony! We work hard and play nice, especially when penguins are involved!

Corporate Transparency Act/BOI UPDATE
On December 3, 2024, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas issued a nationwide preliminary injunction temporarily blocking enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) and its reporting rule (Reporting Rule) i.e.., BOI Reporting. This ruling effectively halts the requirement for reporting from companies to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) in spite of the looming January 1, 2025, compliance deadline for reporting by companies formed prior to 2024.
Over the next few days, we expect more clarity on the situation and will be sure to keep you posted.
