Savor the Moment, Harlem, 2025

Flower petal suede engraved menus for Savor the Moment, a dining salon experience by and . We were challenged to create a menu concept that could give each of the seven courses their own moment to be experienced, in a format that could be produced in four days. I loved the result - a tactile and playful menu inspired by one of the key ingredients - the calendula flower.

To realize their vision, they turned to their interior designer, Adam Charlap Hyman, who orchestrated the transformation of the Pool with Baroque aesthetics, still-life floral arrangements, and hanging garlands and greens. At the center of it all was a very apropos Romanesque n**e sculpture of the couple chiseled in ice, lending a literal metaphor to this concept of ephemerality. “Just as outrageous and beautiful as we had imagined,” Deena says. “We had been envisioning this space for so many months, and seeing it come to life better than we could ever have expected was incredible.”

Rachel and I have been friends since we were 18 years old, and her wedding was one of the best experiences of my lifetime. She’s insanely talented and painted her own wedding motif inspired by meaningful symbols- the orange blossom, the primrose, the violet and the bee. Her wedding was a collection of home baked, garden grown and local fare. Last February, the New York Times posted an article “Want an Insta-Worthy Wedding? Brand Your Love Story.” while I 🙄 at the headline, branding weddings is my favorite part of the design process. Our couples and their talented planners inspire us with their lives, pets, throw pillows, love stories and mood boards and adventures. Hinge Dinner, Waverly Inn, 2024

I loved collaborating on this brand project for Hinge centering LGBTQIA+ dating trends - all of which emphasized slowing down and low pressure dates. The tactile and hand-bound menus featured a white velvet cover with the Hinge logo foil stamped and a minimalist, brand-forward layout.
